Former BuildPoint CEO selected to lead voice recruiting leader, whose revenues have tripled in the past year.
Fremont, CA (PRWEB) August 18, 2005 -- JobFlash, the leading voice in hourly
recruiting, today announced the appointment of Mike Krueger as President and
CEO. Co-founder and interim CEO Uday Walia will resume his role as Chief
Technical Officer for the company.
“Mike brings to JobFlash impressive credentials in building great companies,” said Walia. “We’re thrilled to have found the ideal leader to take JobFlash to the next level.”
Prior to joining JobFlash, Krueger was the president and CEO of BuildPoint, a leading provider of on-demand software in the commercial construction market. Under his leadership the company grew its user base to 100,000 registered subcontractors and 150 general contracting firms. Krueger also has extensive experience in sales management, sales development and partner management, moving several companies from the startup stage to IPO.
“JobFlash has predicated its success on delivering to its clients the highest quality hires,” said board of directors member Dan Levitan, the co-founder of Maveron, a Seattle-based venture-capital company. “We were in the enviable position of choosing from an outstanding roster of candidates with proven track records as CEOs and company builders, and the board is unanimous in its belief that we made the highest quality hire.”
The announcement comes on the heels of news that JobFlash has tripled its revenues since August 2004.
“JobFlash has changed the recruiting game for companies that hire hourly employees,” said Krueger, who has 20 years of sales and executive management experience in high-growth software companies. “What excited me the most is the loyalty of their clients, and the fact that the company’s growth is due almost exclusively to referrals. JobFlash delivers a great service at an outstanding value and is poised for explosive growth.”
The search was conducted by Nadine North of Taylor Winfield, a Dallas-based international executive search firm.
Founded in 2002, JobFlash’s bilingual interactive telephone and web service automates sourcing, screening, scheduling and paperless hiring of hourly employees. JobFlash registers phone candidates with a powerful JobMail™ Box that enables applicants to listen to openings, apply for jobs, check status, update their information and schedule appointments for interviews. JobFlash clients include leading hotel and casinos, restaurants, cruise lines, call centers, hospitals and retailers.
