I-OnAsia is a Hong Kong and Macau based biometrics security service provider specializing in the Techsphere Hand Vascular Pattern Person Identification Technology (VP-II) biometric security system, the next-generation in biometric technology. We are the leader in the high-end biometrics market capable of providing cost effective solutions to business or residential premises. Whether it be a standalone device for the office or home, or a networked system over multiple sites, an authentication device for everyday business processes, VP-II is capable of meeting the needs of today's government, business and security requirements.
VP-II is a development of South Korean company, Techsphere. The VP-II is a cutting edge biometric device that is capable of producing tomorrow’s security solution today. The VP-II is the next generation of the well received VP-I vein pattern recognition system, which verified users by utilizing a state-of-the art recognition algorithm based on hand vascular patterns extracted by an infrared optical sensor system.
Since its debut VP-II has been installed in premises ranging from airports, office buildings to high security defense and government facilities. VP-II technology can also be adopted for access control, time and attendance management, login verification, membership management, privacy protection, e-commerce, fraud prevention, and information protection. It is capable of working in standalone, network mode or integration into existing security systems.
